Job Description:

A Ministry of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship of the Assemblies of God located in East Brunwick, New Jersey.
We are currently looking to fill the position for the Pre-Kindergarten-Eighth Grade Principal with approximately 150 students in the school.

Purpose:
To provide Christian leadership to maximize the spiritual, educational, social and personal development of each student. The principal guides, directs, and is responsible for the total operation of the school in all areas.

Positions Supervised:
Certified teachers, special subject teachers, classroom aides, clerical, cafeteria, custodial, extended session staff, athletic department, and Summer Camp staff. Approximately 14 teachers; 8 Aides and Support personnel.

Performance Responsibilities:
The position includes but is not limited to the following list of representative duties:
1.) Spiritual Mission/ Expectations:
* Exhibits a deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
* Create and maintain a supportive Godly environment for all personnel, students, parents and constituents.
* Be able to articulate a Christian worldview.

2.) Administrative/Operations:
* Plan, organize, and direct implementation of all school activities, promoting the best educational practices.
* Coordinate the development and implementation of curriculum.
* Maintain open communication with Church Pastor, LCF board members, students, and parents.
* Recruit, hire, and retain excellent faculty and other staff.
* Develop and maintain effective communication systems between parents, teachers, and administration.
* Direct and supervise Summer Camp staff, activities and schedules.
* Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the LCF Church Board of Directors.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Must attend and become a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.

Salary & Benefits: Negotiable / based on experience.

Degrees: Master’s Degree preferred but not necessary (Bachelor's minimum)
