Brief job description:
Responsible for providing for the operational, financial, and spiritual oversight of the hospital and serves as the primary spokesperson and representative of the hospital in the medical, business and Christian communities and with CURE U.S. headquarters. Also responsible for serving as the primary administrative liaison with the government and non-government entities within the country.
Skills and qualifications needed:
Minimum of five years hospital administration experience. Comparable experience in a business setting also acceptable. Knowledge of developing country settings and/or previous cross-cultural experience; international travel experience. Fluency in English required. Ability to assess risk, implement strategy, select people and measure performance. Excellent conflict management and problem solving skills. Excellent communications, public relations, and listening skills. Demonstrated ability to cope with and manage change. Understanding of IT systems and inventory management. Ability to build and maintain relationships with people of diverse backgrounds. Emotionally mature and self motivated. Must demonstrate a mature Christian faith and a sincere commitment to the mission of CURE International.
