Who We Are:
For over 35 years, New Horizons Youth Ministry has been assisting parents with their high-potential youth who are making at-risk decisions. They provide a therapeutic Christian education in a boarding school environment—with campuses in Indiana, the Dominican Republic and Canada.

SUMMER 2010 CAMP OPPORTUNITIES
New Horizons Youth Ministries is looking for dedicated, caring Christians to work at MOUNTAIN VIEW ACADEMY (MVA). This is a 10-week summer ministry in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC countryside. Students have the opportunity to be involved in meaningful work projects, cultural education, and team-building experiences.

The goal of MVA is to use cultural experiences, team building, and hard work as tools for the purpose of motivating teenagers to better their futures. Students are taught an appreciation of hard work, cultural differences, and service to others. They are also taught self-motivation through the accomplishment of goals and fulfillment of relationship-based training.

Positions Available: Team Leaders, Group Leaders, Work Leaders, and Work Coaches that can also teach Dominican Cultural Studies and Bible.

New staff should arrive May 3rd for training purposes. Returning staff should arrive no later than May 17th. Camp begins May 24 and ends August 7.

Salary ranges from $446 to $568 bi-weekly plus room and board and is based on position and credentials. Airfare is provided to the Dominican Republic. A passport is required at your expense.
