Job Description:

Christian Heritage is seeking a full-time Family Partner to support, equip, educate and monitor new and current families in their homes who are in crisis and be an advocate for the children in their care. Family Partners provide in-home support and crisis intervention services to families and their children. Family Partners utilize a cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, and wraparound model of intervention to help families solve their own problems. Family-centered interventions are incorporated to help engage the family at the onset of services. Improved family functioning, stability, and access to formal and informal supports are a few of the outcomes strived for. Service delivery is flexible and culturally responsive to each family. Family intervention is done primarily in the home and school setting as needed.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a social service related field and 1-2 years experience working with families and children in crisis. Experience with home visits, and implementation of cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, and/or wraparound models of intervention preferred. Knowledge of local social service resources and school system a plus. Must possess a valid driver's license, valid auto liability insurance with a good driving record, plus the ability to provide own transportation to complete travel requirements of job.
