Job Description:
The City of Kennedale, Texas (pop.6800) is seeking a Human Resources Director to establish and administer human resources functions including policy and procedure development and compliance, recruitment, compensation, employee training and development, employee health and wellness benefits, and safety and risk management.

This position will be an integral part of the management and team deliberations that manage the City and will work closely with the city manager to provide organizational support and leadership. The ideal candidate must be collaborative, diplomatic, a team player, and change agent. Must be fair, forthcoming, straightforward, approachable, discreet, accessible, as well as have good financial acumen.

Job requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management
* Organizational Development
* Public Administration
* Business Administration, or related field
* Three (3) years of experience in Human Resource

Knowledge of the Competing Values Framework (Cameron & Quinn), the Requisite Organization (Jacques), Ethical Decision Making (Victor & Cullen), lateral/parallel thinking (DeBono), and the Truth Project (Del Tacket) is preferred.

Salary Range $52,000 - $68,000 DOQ. Member of TMRS - 7% match 2 to 1. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance provided to employee at no cost, vacation and sick time, 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, Cafeteria Plan, longevity pay after one year of employment, 12 paid holidays
