Maintain and develop Systems Network that supports broadcast live production and post production (Server, RAID, Network). Engineer both the studio end and the transmitter end (the entire air chain), as well as remote broadcasts. Install and maintain equipment for professional post production facility and remote shoots.
Degree in management information systems, or broadcast technology, electronic, telecommunications, or computer engineering is preferred
Knowledge of entire equipment chain from taping to delivery is required. Maintain production infrastructure including, but not limited to, 8 MacPro workstations that utilizes editing, graphic, and audio software to dual channel fiber RAID storage configurations.
Working knowledge of the following equipment and technologies -
Phillips DD35 switcher with Phillips analog/digital router
Audio board D/ESAM 820 Digital Audio Mixer
6 Ikegami HD ENG cameras
IFB Studio Technologies
Clear-Com communication network
Audio board for mixing and multi-tracking: Euphonix System 5B
Accom Linear editor with Abekas DVEOUS
VTR's in workflow include: DVCAM, Digi-beta, beta, D-9, HDV, P2 cards
Good oral and written business communications, negotiation and time management skills
Candidates must be self-motivated and enthusiastic to learn about emerging technologies, hardware/software and the corresponding applications. Be able to logically approach to problem solving and troubleshooting. Detail oriented. Quick thinking. Calm under high-pressure situations.
