Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds is a Christian non-profit conference center located in Occidental, California about 8 miles west of Santa Rosa. We are currently looking to fill the Naturalist/Program Specialist (Outdoor Education Instructor) positions. Training begins August 30.

Join a 13 member team of outdoor educators/program specialists, and educate students on the environment through leading classes, activities, and other related assignments. This is a seasonal, full time salaried position, featuring onsite housing, meals, health insurance.

* Bachelor’s Degree or higher
* Christian with a Biblical lifestyle

* Starting salary of $285 per week

Naturalist/Environmental Educator Position:

Be part of dynamic team and instruct 5th and 6th grade children during the fall and spring on environmental education. Guide students through 100 acres of redwood forest, instructing them through five classes that involve animal life and the food chain, forest ecology, initiatives and critical thinking, geology, and streams. Trips to the ocean and a local redwood state forest allow for off-site environmental instruction. Lead a large variety of evening activities including night hikes, games, and campfires. On the job training and participation in workshops with other Naturalists expand the teaching experience.
