Statement of Purpose And Mission
Hope House exists to provide a home for children between the ages of six (6) and eighteen (18) (and then those youth who turn eighteen prior to or during their senior year in High School) who are emotionally impaired, developmentally disabled, and/or come from disrupted adoptions or dysfunctional families.

Our mission at Hope House is to provide a home-like, family atmosphere where, through love, structured activities, appropriate discipline, educational and vocational opportunities, and people who will listen, young people can reach their fullest potential.

Hope House will strive to meet the spiritual needs of all children and youth. Hope House is a non-denominational Christian organization. Its staff strives to live the principals of love and brotherhood found in scripture. Hope House will not force any child or youth to make religious commitments; however, we will encourage them, and aid them, if requested, to find peace and forgiveness through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to return young people to their families, where appropriate, and to the world at large, who are able to interact appropriately with their peers and those in authority, provide for their own economic needs, and to be successful in the pursuit of their personal goals and ambitions.

Hope House is Currently looking to fill a position for…Lady for Music and Girls Dorm. We are looking for a teacher with a heart for music. Must have the personality to be incredibly patient with pre-teens and teens. Loving kids is a priority along with three years minimum experience with youth not related to yourself. Consider being an "Auntie" in the girls dorm.

Job requires an enjoyment of tent or trailer camping during the summer months / energy for a busy life with pre teens-teens / heart for state side missions / emotional maturity to know the difference about this position that you cannot come to rescue children but to walk with them as they learn about themselves/to understand that this is not a job but a servants position with every child-stipend/health insurance/private housing for each staff member-must have a minimum of 2 years documented experience working with children not related to you.
