An aspiring candidate will be in the unique position to work for an employer that shares a common goal of combining his/her experience for delivering quality healthcare to patients with a pharmacy staff that is also focused on excellent patient care and not just profit.

Our organization is a privately held company engaged in the provision of customized pharmacy management services to long term care facilities. We are currently seeking someone from the Nursing Profession who understands the unique aspects of medication administration and the services that a LTCF requires to join our team as the Sales Manager, to market our services to nursing homes in the Delaware Valley.

This Sales and Marketing professional is ultimately responsible for driving revenue increases by overseeing the development and execution of all sales, marketing, and related pharmaceutical activities for our company. This entails developing new contracts with Long Term Care Facilities’, Continuing Care Retirement Communities and Assisted Living Facilities, while maintaining contact with current LTC clients to assure a high level of customer service is achieved.

Additionally, the Sales and Marketing Manager must be able to work closely with our operations team to develop and execute a system to insure new client set-up and ongoing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

Initiate contact with prospective clients and continue account management of current customers;
Research market and new business development opportunities;
Keep abreast of market activities that affect sales direction;
Develop programs focusing on senior citizen issues that help market our services to facilities;
Keep abreast of new pharmacy developments for long-term care
Keep abreast of customer goals and objectives that may affect or be affected by our pharmacy relationship.
Plan and attend local and regional tradeshows (i.e. – PANPHA, PADONA, etc) to exhibit our services; and
Identify ways to improve the company directives and operations.

The ideal candidate MUST:

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills in a healthcare environment;

Develop credibility with others so that we can maximize our reputation for quality service in our markets;

Have sales experience related to some aspect of nursing & pharmacy administration in LTC environments;

Have working knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Office.
