Stewardship Ministries Programs Manager
Job Description (rev 11-09)
Purpose: To serve, encourage and enable donors to give by managing programs for communications and for management of information.
Reports to: Stewardship Ministries Director (SMD).
Type: Regular, full-time.
FLSA status: Non-exempt.
RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job) – listed in order of priority
Donor appreciation
Donor information management
SM volunteer program manager.
Give input to and manage possible changes within the SM department in coming months.
Additional tasks as SMD assigns and prioritizes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (specialized knowledge, skills, experience and/or abilities)
God-dependent attitude with a desire to serve God through a donor development ministry.
Well organized; keep track of details; able to understand and implement priorities; timely follow through to completion with minimal supervision.
Relational; positive attitude; strong team player; teachable; flexible; can manage others.
Communicate well; good listener; responsive. Comfortable on the phone and writing to donors.
Self starter; take initiative when given the opportunity to craft solutions.
Experience demonstrating versatility and ability to organize and achieve results.
Degree preferred in management, marketing or other fields related to serving people.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Excel: able to load records, create and modify reports and graphs from records, (advanced - pivot tables).
Ability to aggregate and analyze records and reports.
Comfortable learning new software and processes, software application and administrative processes.
