Vice President of Business Affairs/Chief Financial Officer

Colorado Christian University is looking for a Vice President of Business Affairs/Chief Financial Officer who will provide exceptional service while building positive relationships within the CCU community.

The Vice President of Business Affairs/Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the President and is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategies. This individual participates with and provides key information to the President, Cabinet, Board of Trustees, operating committees and other key leaders to ensure the University meets the short and long term planning goals while maintaining a sound financial condition and assisting with the operational aspects of the University.

The successful candidate will be an experienced leader and financial executive with 8+ years of experience leading a team and/or participating on a leadership team, preferably in higher education. A Master’s degree in finance, accounting or business is preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate the highest Christian ethical standards, be energetic, forward thinking, demonstrate sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, strong operational focus and be well organized, self-directed and articulate. Ability to build positive relationships, work well with people at all levels, and be a mentor is a must. Knowledge of Datatel systems, Microsoft Office, and other accounting software a strong plus.
