Psychiatrist - Medical Director

His House Children’s Home, a faith based, non-profit social services organization is seeking a contractual Mental Health Director (child Psychiatrist) of clinical programs for minors to provide: medical and therapeutic supervision, administrative direction, and leadership support to clinical team and support staff; responsibility for developing protocols and standardized procedures; psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning; diagnosis of mental health clients; medication management which may warrant prescribing psychotropic medication.

Job Requirements
Candidate must be Board certified in adult and child/adolescent psychiatry and possess a current license to practice medicine in the state of Florida without restriction by the Medical Board of Quality Assurance. Qualified candidate must also possess a current federal DEA license to prescribe controlled substances and must be independently enrolled in Medicaid as a provider. Experience treating behaviorally difficult children and adolescents required.
