Job Description:

This position is part-time and is very flexible making it a good position for a stay at home mom in need of part-time work.
The candidate must be a progressive, detail-oriented person who can provide a customized approach to collections with consistent and timely follow-up. He/she will be responsible for maintaining collections and all necessary record keeping. This includes but is not limited to maintaining a consistent log of calls and results, maintaining accurate customer contact information, and keeping up to date with new collections needs. This position requires reporting to the Head Bookkeeper to discuss and strategize current goings on with respect to collections. The candidate must be able to handle multiple priorities/deadlines, and combine an overall understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities while working with or without supervision. The candidate should exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality, must be a team player, punctual and present a professional attitude at all times, while addressing the following key position components:

• Extensive customer/client contact
• Collect collections operations
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Flexibility to constantly changing demands/priorities
• Ability to work on various computer software systems, retrieve and generate email
• Operates office equipment such as photocopier, fax machine
• Maintain records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, coding, updating and destruction
• Provide administrative support to Finance Department


• 2+ years of experience making collections calls
• Microsoft, Excel, Access, Quickbooks software
• 60wpm
