Bible League has provided Bibles for more than 70 years to people in need around the world. Bible League partners with local churches worldwide, training and equipping Christians to use the Bible to make disciples and establish new churches. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist in our international headquarters office located in the south Chicago suburb of Crete, IL.
This individual will have the responsibility of working with our HR team in various human resource responsibilities in order to establish an environment where Bible League employees are engaged, thrive and are highly productive. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process for assigned positions, employee on-boarding, the employee recognition program and proactive recruitment. The HR Generalist will also work collaboratively with the HR team on strategic planning, benefits administration, compensation administration, employee training and development and ongoing staff communication.
Qualifications include being a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and also agree with the Bible League’s Statement of Faith. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Human Resource Generalist or similar professional level HR role, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent professional level experience, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in recruitment and HR certification preferred. In addition, candidates will have previous computer experience with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with HRIS system preferred. Candidates will also possess strong communication skills, be self motivated, team-oriented and have experience handling matters with confidentiality.
