Job Description:
Traders Point Christian Academy invites applications and nominations for the Secondary Science Teacher position. This position reports to the Secondary Principal.

The Secondary Science Teacher will be responsible for:
•Teaching secondary Science including middle school science and high school biology
•Integrating Biblical world view into the science curriculum
•Aiding the spiritual formation of secondary students

Candidates must be professing and maturing Christians enthusiastically supporting the Academy’s faith and mission statements. A bachelor’s degree and teaching license in a related field is required. Candidate must demonstrate a successful career in teaching. The ideal candidate will excel at developing collaborative relationships with all constituencies. Excellent communication skills are a must, including writing and presentation abilities. In addition, the position requires the ability to organize and prioritize work, resolve problems, follow through, and manage multiple priorities to ensure that goals are met in a timely manner.

Traders Point Christian Academy exists to challenge and educate students within the framework of a Biblical worldview while leading them to a personal faith and transformed life in Jesus Christ.

Traders Point Christian Academy is located twenty minutes northwest of metropolitan Indianapolis with a growing enrollment of 600 in newly constructed facilities. The Academy offers programs from preschool through the 10th grade. TPCA is expanding to include the 10th grade in 2009. Each consecutive year a grade will be added which will lead to its first graduating class in 2012. The Academy is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools along with the Association of Christian Schools International. All elementary and middle school classroom teachers are degreed and licensed. More information can be found at
