POSITION – Director for Christian Home for Teenage Girls

Description: Hosanna House, A Christian Home for Teenage Girls, Immediate Position Available – Director - Located on Jacksonville’s Westside. Fulltime position with benefits. Must have a desire to actively work with teenage girls. Must be capable of providing leadership and spiritual guidance to each girl according to her specific needs.

Manages and administrates Hosanna House.
Informs the appropriate Committees of the Board of Directors of all operations.
Attends meetings of the Committees of the Board and the Board meetings as possible.
Enforces the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Hosanna House.
Oversees the financial record keeping.
Coordinates with staff opportunities for training, retreats, and other activities beneficial to the
staff in their relationship to Hosanna House.
Deals with state officials in order to meet state standards.
Supervises and supports all staff.
Oversees all outreach contacts, material, and correspondence.
Maintains affiliations with various organizations.
Attends required FACCCA training, meetings, and sends required forms as needed.
Holds staff meetings at regular intervals.
Prepares an annual budget for presentation to the Board; keeps Board advised of financial
needs, supervises purchasing and operation within the budget established.
Opens all incoming mail and approves outgoing mail.
Assures proper staff coverage at all times.
Conducts personally and facilitates required periodic staff evaluations.
Assures that all record keeping (case, statistical, administrative) meets Hosanna House
and/or FACCCA accreditation.
Reviews and recommends to the Board the special requests related to resident and staff needs.
-Be a person of demonstrated integrity, maturity, and sound judgment, capable of establishing and maintaining a sound administrative structure.
-Be a person of proven leadership in both the executive and spiritual arenas; capable of guiding others.
-Have a 4 year college degree
-The demonstration of outstanding ability and leadership through a minimum of four (4) years of work in a position carrying executive responsibilities in areas related to childcare and development.
-Have the managerial skills needed to take full charge of Hosanna House and to make regular reports to the Board on all phases of its operation.
-Must provide a clear Biblical testimony of a personal experience of receiving, by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior.
-Must maintain an exemplary Christian lifestyle.
-Must enjoy working with teenagers and be very open to diverse cultures.
-Must work in harmony with other staff and supervise residents in a firm but loving manner.
