Supports and partners effectively with Strategic Business Partners, to help ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Responsible for day-to-day implementation and delivery of HR services. Works with Strategic Business Partner in recruitment, salary administration, employee relations, staff development and organizational development to their specific customer group. Actively participates as a member of a highly effective HR Service Center team which includes the HR Help Desk. Performs adminstrative tasks related to the HR function.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
Acts as an advocate for children – raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one’s influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
Collaborates and supports the Human Resources team and their Strategic Business Partner to ensure organizational efforts are well coordinated and timely.
Recruitment: Action recruitment process for non-exempt and exempt positions by helping managers post positions, screen candidates and ensure that managers follow good HR practice that enables them to make good hiring decisions.
Compensation & Benefits: Evaluates and classifies jobs according to organizational methodology.
Employee Relations: Consults with Strategic Business Partner to handle routine to moderately-complex questions, concerns, and grievances for assigned client group. Consults with Strategic Business Partner to counsel and coach employees and mid-level managers on various issues related to performance management, legal compliance, staffing, progressive discipline, and benefits.

General Support: May be required to write letters, conduct research, and perform data entry. Provides back-up for the HR Service Desk.
