Contract Pharmacy Services
Warrington, Pennsylvania, United States

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
Contract Pharmacy Services is a privately held company engaged in the provision of customized pharmacy management services to long term care facilities and correctional institutions.

Over the last 3 decades, CPS has become a leader in institutional pharmacy by recognizing and responding to the changing requirements of the industry to help our clients reduce the amount of time spent on the manual processing and transfer of information.

CPS is seeking to expand its core of registered pharmacists that serve correctional facilities throughout the United States. This is a new position being created to assist the President and Vice President of the company in meeting the company’s commitment to provide our clients excellent service.

The successful applicant will need to have a BS in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree (preferred) and be competent in clinical issues related to HIV/AIDS treatments, psych medications, and other chronic diseases relating to our correctional inmate clientele.

The position will require some travel (mainly local/same day with the possibility of some limited overnight stays) to assist the President and Vice President in performing site inspections and conducting Pharmacy and Therapeutic committee meetings. The candidate will also perform phone/web based P&T meetings with clients.

The position will also require some regular staffing in our pharmacy, approximately 2 days per week. We feel strongly that anyone representing CPS at client meetings needs to know the details of how the pharmacy operates on a day-to-day basis so they can explain any issues that may arise during meetings. The only way to get that knowledge is to be part of the dispensing process.

The candidate will be involved in developing clinical reports, data analysis, pharmaco-economic recommendations, etc related to lowering cost for our clients while providing good treatment options for physicians.

*Must be a Pennsylvania licensed Pharmacist*

If you an ambitious and highly motivated licensed pharmacist and are able to work independently, as well as with a team, please email your resume with salary requirements in confidence to:
