Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

The number of international residents living in major cities of the world is growing at an amazing rate. These persons include businessmen, military personnel, missionaries, diplomats, embassy staff, and immigrants from many different countries. Because of modernization and increased development, many of these expatriates are living abroad with their families.
These influential individuals tend to seek English-speaking schools for their children. To meet the demand and seize the opportunity, secular educators are establishing overseas schools. Generally, these schools have no Christian influence and most charge exorbitant tuitions. Many are filled to capacity and have long waiting lists because of the high demand.
Will Christian educators respond to this incredible opportunity? This is the question that gave birth to NICS - the Network of International Christian Schools, Inc. NICS started in the Republic of Korea with the establishment of International Christian Schools. Presently, operates schools in sixteen countries around the world. Plans are underway for expansion into other major cities around the world. Additionally, we also have the privilege of serving in some countries where religious matters are very sensitive. Schools located in these countries are part of a division of NICS known as Oasis International Schools. For more information contact Oasis International Schools .

In 1983, a small school of missionary children in Uijongbu, Korea, was launched with a simple idea—to provide a Christian education where there was none. As time went on and as new doors opened, the founders of the school were led to launch more schools and to include students from all over the world. NICS/Oasis now operates 20 international schools in 16 different countries and our schools’ staff, home office, and partners are spread all over the world.

Welcome to the CORE, NICS’ online magazine! While our network of schools bridges people from all over the world by providing a common philosophy of education, it can often create a sense of disconnectedness due to distance and cultural differences. With the CORE, we hope to connect staff, ministry friends, and potential staff to each other by providing stories and resources from our schools and home office.
