Job Description:
Bible League is an international Christian ministry located in south Chicago suburb of Crete. Bible League partners with local churches worldwide, training and equipping Christians to use the Bible to make disciples and establish new churches.
We are currently seeking an experienced Director to develop and oversee evangelism, discipleship and church planting programs of Bible League in Eastern Europe and the Middle East and to oversee the efforts of Muslim ministry on a global level for all Bible League ministry countries. This individual will administer Scripture placement programs and promote and train the Bible League’s Church Planting program in assigned countries within the region. In addition, this person will lead and give direction to the national directors and their national staff within those countries. Responsibilities also include communicating with donors the needs and blessings experienced in those countries, provide written reports on program accomplishments, and prepare and administer annual budgets.
Qualifications include being a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, agree with the Bible League’s Statement of Faith and committed to evangelism and church growth throughout Eastern Europe and the Middle East and also must have experience in Muslim ministry or Muslim studies. Candidates should have leadership, management and administrative experience working in cross-cultural evangelism, church planting and/or pastoral care ministry, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be fluent in a second language. In addition, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and preferably will have completed graduate level courses. Candidates should be a goal-oriented self-starter and be knowledgeable in the area’s history and the present political, social and economic situation.
