The Online Marketing Web Designer/Developer is responsible for managing all of the Online Marketing for our clients and vendor contacts. This person will work alongside management to develop, execute and oversee the client and vendor online marketing initiatives.

Our clients include large Christian ministries, think tanks, educational institutions, and broadcasters. Design User Interfaces for web sites, microsites, landing pages, and email campaigns
Develop web sites and landing pages using standards-compliant XHTML and CSS
Develop wireframes and functionality specifications based on high-level concepts and project goals
Make recommendations for information architecture, navigation, and overall usability for all we projects
Optimize web sites and web pages for fast load
Apply SEO best practices for all web projects
Stage and send email campaigns on behalf of client partners using Blue Hornet Email Management System
Technical Project management of all client Online Marketing initiatives
Manage the planning, testing, tracking and execution of a broad range of online marketing programs, including pay-per-click campaigns, paid inclusion listings, banner and rich media campaigns, microsite and web site design and development, email marketing campaigns, social networking profile pages, and all other marketing programs targeted at driving new sales
Monitor client analytics reports on a weekly and monthly basis and recommend actions
Aggregate and assimilate data from disparate reports into a comprehensive monthly report for each client that measures effectiveness
Collaborate with developers, vendors and team leaders to ensure the integration of strategy between online marketing and other disciplines
Quality assurance work with developers and vendors to ensure that the quality of Online Marketing and measurement thereof meets or exceeds client expectations.
Write monthly progress reports.
Analyze campaign trends and effectiveness.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A PORTFOLIO OF WEB SITES FOR WHICH THEY ARE DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE.
5 + years experience in Web Design and Web Development experience (candidates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply regardless of experience)
Must have basic knowledge of internet and database programming - ASP, .NET, PHP, SQL, etc and be able to communicate efficiently with developers.
Direct Marketing Agency experience a plus
Knowledge of statistical methods and online metrics.
Knowledge of web server tracking software.
Knowledge of all types of search engines and directories.
Keeping on the leading edge of online marketing trends.
Knowledge of the concepts, behaviors and geography of the Internet.
Apply knowledge of Internet user classifications and behaviors.
Nonprofit organization experience is a strong plus.
Proven track record of digging into usage/behavior data to identify anomalies and/or trends that will drive key business initiatives.
3-years of experience with web metrics and/or web analytics tools such as Web trends, Google Analytics, or other web analytics packages.
Previous experience in querying relational databases with MS Access, SQL or other reporting tools.
2-5 years experience in ecommerce sales and marketing a plus.
Experience in light programming/debugging in ASP, PHP, .Net, and/or Flash a Super-big Plus!
Strong organizational and presentation skills.
Quick learner and driven to succeed attitude.
Strategic thinker with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self starter who needs minimum supervision.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a cross functional environment.
