Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
Jarabacoa Christian School is looking for dedicated, qualified, Christ-centered teachers for the 2009-2010 school year!

JCS Mission
Jarabacoa Christian School (JCS) was founded in 2000 as a private, non-profit, bilingual school seeking to provide the highest quality, American-style education possible. We also seek to provide every student with the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and to grow in their relationship with Him.

About Jarabacoa
The town of Jarabacoa is located in the central mountain range of the Dominican Republic. There are roughly 20-30,000 people, ranging from poor subsistence farmers to wealthy business-owners. Prior to the 1960's, there was no Evangelical presence in Jarabacoa. Through the work of church planters and other missionaries, there is now an active and growing Christian community. JCS opened its doors in 2000 as the first bilingual school in town. By offering a high-quality, bilingual education, JCS has been able to minister to community leaders who had been resistant to entering churches.

JCS Staff Benefits
-No Spanish language requirement, though it is beneficial.
-Daily staff prayer and weekly staff chapel.
-Small salary and housing stipend provided.
-JCS finds and modestly furnishes staff housing for all incoming staff.
