Job Description:
The Immersion English teacher will teach a kindergarten class of up to 16 children in a completely English environment. Outside of a 40 minute Japanese class, the children are immersed in English. The children learn through songs, chants, short poems, memory work, games, stories and some phonics and writing. Our curriculum is cutting edge and one of a kind. There is an interpreter available to assist the English teacher as needed. Due to the language barrier, the English teacher must be very sensitive to the needs of his/her students, and must be creative in communicating with them.

Annual starting salary (tax-free for Americans) of ¥3,240,000 YEN/YR plus benefits!
•End of the year performance based bonus
•Fully furnished apartment
•One economy class round trip plane ticket per year
•Health insurance with 70% coverage is optional, and MeySen will pay half of the salary based premiums
•Three vacations are available throughout the year in addition to various national holidays. The following is a typical vacation scenario:
Summer: Usually around 12 days in mid August
Winter: Usually around 12 days over New Years beginning after Christmas
Spring: Usually around 7 days in the end of March
•Training is provided from mid-February to April 1st.

Requirements: A four year degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education is a must.
