Job Description:

The Spiritual Wilderness Solitude Center (SWS) seeks an individual or couple interested in serving as a residential retreat center coordinator and event manager. Preferred candidates will reside on the 170-acre wooded property in Jarrett, Virginia (About 2 hours and 15 minutes from Fairfax, VA) providing oversight for the Retreat Center Operations, Fund Raising, Guest / Client Relations, Outreach and Marketing, General Facilities Cleaning and Maintenance (With Grounds Contractors), Asset and Inventory Management, Reservations Management, Bookkeeping and Accounting and Facilitation of Spiritual Activities and Events for a new non-denominational Christian church located at SWS. Spiritual activities include Sunday morning prayer service and Wednesday evening Bible Study weekly. A college degree is required, in addition to excellent communication skills, event marketing and management and computer skills. Experience in event coordination, hospitality and ministry are preferred.
