Program Coordinator/Cuba Operations Team Leader

Job Description:
Manages and monitors assigned project(s). Records and summarizes project data. Helps organize new projects by reviewing previous project data.
•Assist the Executive Director in managing and coordinating program.
•Provide first-hand assistance to the Chief of Party.
•Responsible for project facilitation including day-to-day coordination and operations of the project.
•Work directly with all parties involved in the program in the US and in Cuba, and internally in order to keep projects on schedule.
•Act as Program Ambassador – build on network of contacts throughout the US and Cuba.
•Maintain own files with updated records of each business funded and keep a log of documents, case studies, project results and financial data.
•Manage ECHOCuba’s communications with the Cuban Independent Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the local leaders.
•Attend trainings and conduct site visits.
•Ensure all logistical arrangements are in place.
•Provide links to United States’ and Cuba’s independent organizations and individuals.
•Facilitate the exchange of data, materials and supplies with Cuba.
•Provide reports on a semi-weekly, monthly and/or quarterly basis as required.
•Ensure all deliverables.
•Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or management.

Skills/ Qualifications:
•Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision, while demonstrating good judgment.
•Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word.
•Fluency in speaking and writing in English and Spanish. Must be able to translate as well.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Highly organized and detail oriented
•Assure confidential/discreet handling of all business.
•Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Salary based on experience and expertise.
