Youth Coordinator

Zion Church continues to be a “seeker sensitive” church where anyone would feel comfortable. It is the mission of Zion Church to help people MEET GOD , (clear, compact message and a contemporary worship experience), GROW CLOSER TO HIM (by doing life together through small group community) & SERVE HIM (Our desire is for the community and world to know that we’re aware, we care and we’re there).

The Woodbridge Youth Coordinator supports the Woodbridge Lead Pastor by overseeing the Youth Ministry experience on the Zion Woodbridge Campus. In addition, he/she develops curriculum for ZWC youth services. He/she recruits, trains and develops Youth Ministry volunteer team, plans Quarterly ZCW youth outings/events and develops, implements and executes annual Youth Ministry retreat.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)

• Oversees all aspects of Youth Ministry Service from setup, to implementation, and breakdown.
• Oversees the organizational structure of the Youth Ministry.
• Trains and empowers all Youth Ministry volunteers and staff.
• Casts ministry vision and builds relationships with all families in the previously identified age range.
• Manages the Youth Ministry budget.
• Steers the Youth Ministry on a Zion Campus.
• Works with lead pastor in developing ways to cultivate family ministry as an integral and intentional part of the church campus. Ie., (family devotionals, family services, etc)

Qualifications:

• Exemplary Character
• Strong Communication Skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Background in Theater
• Basic Understanding of Youth Development
• Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills
• Charismatic
• Well versed in biblical knowledge
