Job Description:

We are looking for a Web Development Manager who can enhance our ministry “brand” and build strong online listener communities through our various social media and website platforms. The Web Development Manager will be responsible for developing and administering social media and website content that is designed to engage our listeners and create an interactive relationship between our listeners and the ministry. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media and website data to develop more effective outreach.

 

This is a Christian Ministry and we provide an environment where the mind, body and spirit are acknowledged. In our lovely facility, you will find a prayer chapel off the downstairs, scripture displayed, and a nurturing working atmosphere where all are encouraged to thrive.

Duties and responsibilities:


Content:

*Develop, manage and drive content for the organization's marketing channels, which include social media, web, emails, and event/branding collateral.

*Collaborate with Writing Team to develop copy for Social Media and Web content.

*Manage team responsible for updating Social Media and Website content.

*Update and manage website content.

 

Media Relations:

*Monitor media for newsworthy items and angles related to the organization. Pitch relevant and timely stories to Creative Director.

 

Graphic Design:

*Manage relationship with outside graphic design firm for complex graphic design needs.

 

Events:

*Assist in select fundraising and media events throughout the year; very few, but possible early mornings and nights.
*Other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

*Excellent Organizational skills

*Knowledge of current technical trends

*Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communications skills

*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines with limited supervision

*Working knowledge of social media platforms

*Working experience with Photoshop

*Experience with managing projects that require interdepartmental collaboration and multiple components.

*Experience with WordPress, and other website content management systems
