SCOPE: You will perform duties for the design, implementation and administration of benefits programs and tools that support attraction, retention and motivation of a global high-performing workforce, guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policies.


  • You will process payroll and all its related functions bi-weekly.
  • You will administer annual open enrollment period. Arrange for distribution of plan summary materials and required notices, assist with communicating changes to employees. Process changes within deadlines.
  • You will process monthly billing for insurance providers, review billings for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • You will work closely with benefit providers to resolve issues and drive process improvement.
  • You will support and guide new hires with completion of relevant paperwork and understanding of SC benefits package. Counsel employees on plan provisions so that they can make informed benefit decisions.
  • You will oversee all administrative details related to benefits; workers comp, retirement, tuition assistance, PTO, LOA, FMLA and ancillary benefits.
  • You will keep staff records up to date by processing status changes or adjustments in a timely manner.
  • You will prepare government reports such as EEO-1 and others.
  • You will act as a resource for HR consultants and staff to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefits and HR policies and regulations.
  • You will oversee the record retention process for employee files and other relevant confidential data such as medical and benefit information with respect to federal and statutory laws.
  • You will comply with federal and state legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation. You will respond to queries from DOL or other government agencies.
  • You will participate as a member of the wellness planning team.
  • You will maintain staff confidence and protect payroll/compensation data by keeping information confidential.
  • You will maintain professional and technical HR knowledge by attending workshops, conferences or viewing relevant webinars.
  • You will participate with other members of the HR team to develop departmental initiatives as directed.


  • You will attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes and policies.
  • You will lead and or participate in projects or task force groups which focus on issues having organization wide impact.
  • You will perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.
  • You will protect payroll/compensation data by keeping information confidential.

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field;
  • Requires one to three years of Human Resources or related experience.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, Microsoft office and administering employee benefits.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, including high attention to detail.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and with multiple departments.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
