Job Description:

While in a secular industry (business consulting with a focus on food and agribusiness), Morrison & Company is a Christian-owned business that values both faith and family. Our Business and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for specific areas of office and business administration as well as certain marketing outreach efforts.  The position reports to the Managing Principal.  Located in Chico, CA.  See more details linked under “Current openings” at http://www.morrisonco.net/mococareers/

Business management:  Responsibilities include general office management; assistance with client relationship management; manage vendor relationships including landlord, IT support, equipment maintenance, janitorial, repair services, cellular and internet services, etc.; banking, bill paying, client invoicing, and light recordkeeping; maintain files including vendors, invoices, and insurance records.

Marketing outreach:  Responsibilities include keeping the look and content of brochures, newsletter, and other marketing collateral up to date; keep website content current and updated; coordinate content and graphics for quarterly newsletter, serve as primary interface with the outside designer and printer; coordinate with contracted photographer and clients to update and maintain a catalog of images for marketing purposes; help develop and maintain (with outside assistance) social media program. 

Requirements include:  Two or more years’ relevant experience required; ability to work independently and take initiative; strong teamwork orientation and a forward-looking mindset; effective written and oral communication skills; professional-level Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel; experience with QuickBooks a plus; relevant college/community college education preferred.
