GENERAL SUMMARY: The Christian Veterinary Mission Marketing and Communication Manager creates and champions the message for advancement and engagement at CVM. This person believes in the CVM mission: to show the love of Christ to others through veterinary medicine, both in the US and around the world. The CVM Marketing Manager is an organized strategist, communicating the organization’s mission, vision and values through multiple channels. Channels include newsletters, appeal letters, reports, and online content. The Marketing Manager collaborates well with others, operates with precision and accuracy, and writes compelling stories that prompt action. The Marketing Manager works as member of the Donor Engagement creative team, and plays the key role as the bridge between Donor Engagement and CVM program team. Responsibilities also include writing for multiple audiences, project management, fundraising strategy, reporting, analytics, budgeting and ministry leadership.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience

  • Christian Commitment:  A deep and abiding faith that is fully surrendered to the will of Jesus Christ, evidenced by a lifestyle that is consistent with biblical principles in word and deed.  Commitment to spiritual growth and development.  Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience: Three years in a non-profit fundraising communications/marketing role or related experience in communications.  Administrative or project management experience.
  • Software and Equipment Used: Microsoft Office
