Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Business Manager support the functions of the school’s Business Office, including but not limited to:

  • Accounts Receivable billing, collection and reconciliation of subsidiary ledger to general ledger
  • Accounts Payable and accounting for fixed asset purchases and depreciation
  • Payroll Liabilities and reconciliations for quarterly reports
  • Assist in the budget control process
  • Supporting schedules for financial reports
  • Special projects, as assigned

Applicant is expected to continue to grow professionally through collaboration with colleagues and professional growth experiences and independent learning.  Applicant must protect confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Three to five years of accounting experience with financial affairs of an organization

 

Preferred Skills:

Proficient in Excel

Experienced in QuickBooks

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Power Point

Excellent written communication skills and positive interpersonal skills
