Potter’s House is a private school in Grand Rapids, MI, with a mission of making Christ-centered education available to all children. TPH Currently serves 560 students PK-12th grade on two campuses and nearly 80% of the students receive tuition
Actively engage as a member of the school community.
Lead development efforts and donor events.
Donor development - prospects, alumni, and professional advisors.
Development Department budget creation and management.
Development Department staff management.
Oversight of grant writing process.
Work with the superintendent to craft and implement marketing and public relations plan.
Advise regarding policies related to the foundation.
Vision and mission planning and implementation.
Attend monthly board meetings and provide reports.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in related area. Master’s level preferred.
5 years’ experience in comprehensive development including experience in director level role.
Demonstrated ability to raise funds. Experience developing successful donor programs preferred.
Passion for mission and vision of TPH.
Experience in under-resourced urban areas is ideal.
Good working understanding of biblical stewardship.
Experience and knowledge of Christian non-profit management.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Word-processing, spreadsheet, and data-base experience.
Successful supervisory and management experience.
