Vanderbloemen Search Group helps churches and ministries find great staff, and we are looking for a Client Account Manager to join our team!


Vanderbloemen is a retained executive search firm, serving churches and Christian organizations in all parts of the United States and internationally. Its central office is in the heart of Houston. Our clients come from over 50 different denominations or types of churches, as well as Christian non-profits and relief organizations. The firm represents churches ranging in attendance from 70 to over 70,000. Churches such as Life.Church, Potential Church, Willow Creek, Central Christian Church, Harvest Bible Chapel, Cross Church, and Peachtree Presbyterian are representative of those who choose to retain Vanderbloemen to help find key staff. 


While Vanderbloemen can staff any position at any size church, the bulk of our work is made up of searches for senior-level staff. Searches involving Senior Pastor succession are an area of particular expertise. In addition to search work, the firm also provides services in staff consulting, succession planning, and compensation analysis.

The Client Account Manager will be responsible for client engagement through providing a premium, concierge-level relationship management service to each of our valued clients, both current and past. The key objective of this role will be to develop a full-cycle customer relationship system for our clients by continuously creating solutions to meet their unique needs. This position will be living out our company value of Solution-Side Living every moment of every day, as we serve our clients in the best way possible. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution as well as 1-3 years of customer service experience or sales will be required for this position. 



The goals and expectations of the role will include:

Relationship Expansion

  • Acquire a key understanding of client history, needs, and objectives.
  • Create a system for regular contact with client base in order to foster continued relationships.
  • Identify ways to expand our relationship with past clients, reengaging when necessary to help meet their needs.
  • Partner with marketing department on client delight efforts throughout the year.
  • Develop a system of regular check ups on client and placed candidates to insure continued success.

 Real-Time Client Management

  • Become a trusted advisor and bridge of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  • Proactive check-ins with current clients during the search process.
  • Work closely with the Director of the Consultant Team to improve the Vanderbloemen customer experience.
