II. This position is responsible for configuration, setup, installation, and on-going support on CRISTA’s network and server infrastructure. The Network/System Administrator will work closely with other IT staff, vendors, and other resources to ensure high
reliability of CRISTA’s network and server systems. This position provides second level support to the Desktop, Telecommunications, and Application staff as needed. CRISTA is a family of seven ministries loving God by serving people worldwide in the areas
of education, international relief & development, senior living, and media.

2. Education: BA/BS degree in a technical field or five-plus years of equivalent experience in a Microsoft Server and Cisco switching/routing corporate data center.
3. Experience: Minimum five years of experience in network and system administration for a corporate data center for medium sized corporation working with Cisco networking infrastructure and current knowledge of MS Windows-centric data center management.
Windows 2012 Active Directory hands on experience in a production environment, MS Exchange 2013 (or newer), VMware, and Cisco IOS.
4. Other Considerations:
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in working with vendors, coworkers and customers.
Must be organized and use effective time management techniques.
Team player; must enjoy working with other team members.
Must be able to prioritize among multiple dissimilar tasks in a dynamic fashion.
Must be able to readily learn new technology products and systems.
Must be able to drive as needed to other CRISTA locations to provide emergency on-site technical assistance.
Must participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
Ability to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers.
5. Software and Equipment Used: Current generation Cisco network equipment. MS Windows Servers (Windows Server 2008R2 and above) with Active Directory.
