CRISTA Ministries is looking for someone with strong problem solving skills and technical savvy to support our mission of “Loving God by serving people,” an organization with seven ministries, as the next Network Administrator I.  Responsible for configuration, setup, installation, and on-going support on CRISTA’s network infrastructure. The Network Administrator will work closely with other IT staff, vendors, and other resources to ensure the high reliability of CRISTA’s network systems. This position provides second level support to the Desktop Support staff as needed. CRISTA is a family of seven ministries loving God by serving people worldwide in the areas of education, international relief & development, senior living, and media.

1. Christian Commitment: Must demonstrate by word and action pursuit of a lifestyle, on and off the job, consistent with the mission of CRISTA Ministries, compatible with historical standards of morality, reflecting the message, mission and character of Jesus Christ.

2. Education: High school degree or two plus years of experience in a Cisco switching/routing corporate environment.

3. Experience:

 1 to 3 years of experience working in an Information Technology department.

 Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network troubleshooting ability.

4. Other Considerations:

 Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in working with vendors, coworkers and customers.

 Must be organized and use effective time management techniques.

 Team player; must enjoy working with other team members.

 Must be able to prioritize among multiple dissimilar tasks in a dynamic fashion.

 Must be able to readily learn new technology products and systems.

 Must be able to drive as needed to other CRISTA locations to provide emergency on-site technical assistance.

 Must participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.

 Ability to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers.

5. Software and Equipment Used:

 Current generation Cisco network equipment.

 Microsoft Office
