Job Description:

The CDO plans, coordinates and assures implementation of strategies to develop donors and contributions to support Women at Risk, Int’l, with special attention to major gift donor development. Overseas and domestic development and maintenance of appropriate systems to fund development including but not limited to donor management, grant acquisition, and gift processing.  Maintains accountability and compliance standards for donors and funding sources. Travel will be required for this position.



  • Minimum BS/BA degree
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in nonprofit resource development
  • Experience in developing major donors
  • Experience writing and editing proposals
  • Experience in strategic analytics
  • Experience in both grant development and management
