Job Description:


HOURS: 40hrs/week; typically daytime hours with some weekend/overnight travel recruitment activity.


ACCOUNTABILITY: The Enrollment Team Leader will work under the direction of, and be accountable to the Director of Enrollment Management. There is collateral reporting to the San Jose Campus Executive Dean.


PURPOSE: The Enrollment Team Leader is responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with prospective students and helping them move from interest to matriculation. Contact means include direct involvement with strategic targeted individuals, church groups, para-church and educational institutions.


1. Oversee Enrollment Department
 Oversee responsibilities related to prospect contacts, application flow, and event planning.
 Coach prospective students through to matriculation in a supportive role as an enrollment counselor.
 Meet and exceed performance standards including application and enrollment goals.

2. Oversee Application Process

 Contact and assist prospective students through the completion of the application process.
 Coordinate with other Western staff or departments on status of application flow.

3. Oversee Recruitment Efforts

 Schedule and coordinate on-campus prospective student information events
 Attend New Student Orientation events

4. Create Marketing Strategies
 Assist in developing marketing strategy, implementation tools, and promotional literature.

5. Other Duties as Assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management.


 Must possess a Bachelor Degree (some seminary training preferred).
 Two or more years of experience in recruitment/enrollment/admissions (seminary/educational experience preferred)
 Must have strong presentation skills and capable of delivering persuasive recruitment presentations to graduate level audience of prospective students and long tenured church/ ministry groups-individuals.
 Familiarity with recruiting, sales and marketing strategies.
 Ability to communicate effectively with peers, students, and faculty both orally and in written form.
