Job Description:

Position Type:  Regular Full-Time (40+ hours per week)

Accountable To:  the Executive Director

Annual Salary:  $38,000-$42,000 based on experience and qualifications

Primary Goal

The SALI Director will oversee the Student Advancement and Leadership Initiative, with the objective of inspiring students to develop their character and leadership to have hope for their future and the capacity to achieve it.  The Director will be responsible for both the day-to-day management of the program as well as the strategic expanding and development of the program.  The SALI Director will work alongside the rest of the LINCNT staff, volunteers, and partner organizations and churches to expand missional outreach to communities in north Texas.  The SALI program offers LINCNT opportunities to develop relationships with parents and increase family strength.  The SALI Director will be working with mission planters to develop mission opportunities to reach more families.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day logistics of the SALI program
  • Develop and improve six years of SALI curriculum
  • Hire and supervise SALI instructors, providing opportunities for the teachers to improve their abilities and connection with the students
  • Develop close professional relationships with school teachers and administrators to improve the facilitation of the program
  • Work with partner churches and organizations who work with LINCNT and SALI to reach their own communities
  • Look for opportunities to expand SALI to more schools
  • Oversee the SALI Scholarship Fund, award process, and committee
  • Coordinate and lead Family Nights at the schools (requires evening availability)
  • Develop outreach strategy to reach students and their families and connect families to it

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Education experience, public school is a plus
  • Experience and ability inspiring and working with youth
  • Ability to work on a team, collaborate, and delegate
  • Warm, friendly, and strong in communication and presentation ability
  • Efficient and effective worker
  • High in initiative, being a self-starter, self-motivator, and self-director
  • Spanish fluency is helpful
  • Computer and IT competence
  • High skills in organization, able to be detail-oriented when needed
  • Serious spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ, active in a Christian fellowship/church
  • Outstanding integrity and character
  • Willingness and ability to learn
