Sales Director - Townhall Media
Townhall Media is a leading publisher of political news and conservative analysis and we are searching for a Director of Sales to manage our team of dedicated digital sales executives.
Media properties include:
Townhall.com, HotAir.com, Twitchy.com, RedState.com BearingArms.com and others
- Recruit, train and coach a team of sales executives in the pursuit of sales objectives
- Develop and execute sales strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve financial targets
- Work with team members to understand client goals and build strategic digital solutions that meet clients’ organizational goals
- Research category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
- Identify sales growth opportunities, as well as market challenges, and work with company leadership to develop and implement innovative action plans.
This position will be based in our Arlington, VA office, although a remote work setup may be considered for the ideal candidate. This position will report to the VP & General Manager and travel would be expected.
Compensation: Base salary commensurate with experience plus commission

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from beginning to end
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to stay up to speed on latest digital marketing solutions
- Ability to develop long-term client relationships
- Understanding of for-profit, non-profit, and political/advocacy organizations
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system
