Salem Media Group in looking for a full time employee to split their time between the Promotions department and the Traffic department.


The Promotions responsibilities  include: Assisting with setup and tear down of station events and appearances, interacting with station account executives, listeners and on-air personalities, maintaining promotional equipment, driving station vehicles, helping with the execution of station events and may include some front office reception duties.


Traffic responsibilities include: Enter new contracts, contract revisions and co-op into the Traffic system.  Maintains and updates client filing system.  Completes all required continuity components, submits production, programming, and web order forms to appropriate departments.  Tracks the status of all submitted forms, and communicates any form/order revisions to appropriate departments.  Troubleshoots problems for sales staff.  Schedules all national network spots weekly and completes weekly affidavits.  Assembles, edits, and prints the logs for the following day to be placed in studios upon completion.  Electronically reconcile logs daily.


Radio experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communications skills with word, excel, power point and publisher. Our traffic system is WideOrbit, knowledge of this system is a major plus. Also demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good problem solving skills, and detail oriented. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, and be available to work some nights and weekends.
