City Mission of Findlay, located in Findlay, Ohio is a nondenominational, ministry sharing the Gospel through emergency residential and non-resident educational and food services. This organization is seeking a Program Director to continue to grow its programs
by providing executive leadership and comprehensive oversight consistent with its view of loving our neighbors. The successful candidate will exhibit, influence and strengthen the core values of City Mission and will bring new ideas, solutions and strategies
to positively impact the ministries of this organization.
City Mission of Findlay reaches out to the poor and homeless in the Findlay – Hancock County community with men's, women’s and family lodging facilities, Day Center, food service open to the community and food pantry. The City Mission has served the homeless
and hungry in this community since 1934. We are currently finishing a $2 million expansion of our facility that provides the room for further developing our ministry to this community.
Required are a minimum of 5-plus years professional including leading programs in a non-profit, faith-based rescue or social services ministry. Experience in a Christ-centered helping ministry desired. A bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, psychology,
social work or related field is required although a Master’s degree in theology or ministry is preferred. Strong communication skills along with the ability to manage the program staff and ministry of the mission. The successful candidate will be a collaborator,
developer of people and team builder, who brings seasoned servant-leadership and a passion for the mission of the organization.
