Responsible for direction and oversight of the sales efforts for a major market West Coast radio station cluster. Responsibilities include aggressive, proactive commercial spot marketing to local advertisers; assisting with the creative positioning of the station(s) to the local community and its advertisers; development of successful N.T.R. programs. Qualified candidates must be able to recruit exceptional talent. Must be able to exceed station financial/budget goals and hire, train and motivate a strong sales staff and other key talent.REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
For consideration, candidates will have a track record of at least five years of successful radio station sales management in a comparable market. Cluster sales management is a plus. Knowledge and understanding of conceptual spot sales, and familiarity with the Evangelical Christian core audience, its issues and concerns, is necessary.
