This position reports directly to the CEO. Responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working as part of the Executive Management Team. Performs the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors: oversees the operations,
management, and development of the Finance and Accounting department. Must have experience with and good knowledge of non-profit fund accounting and tax reporting; experience with management of consolidated financial statement reporting and auditing; solid
experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments; tracking record in grants management, as it relates to compliance with
corporate and foundation grants, is essential; experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software; able to communicate effectively and professionally
with co-workers, and the general public; pass a background check. Demonstrate a Christ-like behavior and attitude in all duties and responsibilities; perform all job functions per the employer’s expectations and comply with all conditions, terms of employment;
possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and unwavering commitment to Christ; a proactive, hands-on strategic thinker.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance; CPA preferred; Minimum of ten years work experience in related field; must have experience in Non-Profit Fund accounting and tax reporting; experience with management of consolidated
financial statement reporting and auditing;
