Temporary Receptionist/Sales Assistant


Salem Media Group is a leading broadcaster of religious programming and informative talk. The company owns and operates commercial radio stations in major markets throughout the Unites States. Salem is an Equal Opportunity employer.


Performs duties related to general office procedures including: Reception, typing correspondence, filing, mail (in-going and out-going), ordering office and kitchen supplies, coordinating luncheons and coordinating listener prizes. Assists the Traffic department with national barter entry. Assists the sales team with proposals/presentations, one sheets for media kits, writing up contracts, sending out “new client letters” and research.
Assist Business Manager with Accounts Receivable, Data Entry, prize giveaway coordination and deposits.
Compensation: D.O.E Paid Parking Permit or Public Transportation
Hours: Monday -Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (with 1 hour lunch) This is a Temporary Full-Time/Hourly/Non-exempt position with an immediate start date.

 

Requirement of Position:      Minimum (2) years of general office and/or receptionist experience.

Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and Internet.

Excellent communication, presentation and people skills.

Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal a plus

 

Personality Traits:   Must be a team player, a positive attitude and a passion for our stations.

Flexible, team-minded individual with good organizational skills. Comfortable with answering a medium volume of incoming calls. Good interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
