Job Description:

The Business Office Assistant is responsible for the school’s payroll, benefit coordination, accounts payable and receivable functions.

 

HOURS:                                   Full time, Regular Business office hours 8:00 – 4:30

 

 

DUTIES                                                                                                                                                           

  • Process payroll
  • Assist in coordination of employee benefits
  • Prepare and process employment contracts and hiring paperwork
  • Process purchase orders and check requests
  • Post and pay accounts payable invoices
  • Post payments to student accounts
  • Balance and make bank deposits
  • Balance campus store sales
  • Student account billing
  • Facilitate annual 403b audit
  • Facilitate annual worker’s comp audit
  • Other duties as assigned

 

SKILLS                                                                                                                                                           

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting related functions to include payroll, accounts receivable and payable
  • Computer skills, Microsoft office
  • Good organizational and time management skills
