We are looking for an IT Desktop Support Tech I to assist our IT Staff in supporting the Mission of CRISTA Ministries. As a member of the IT Desktop Support team, the Desktop Support Technician I provides end-user support for computing hardware and software to all CRISTA staff. Under the direction of senior IT staff, this position sets up, configures, delivers and installs end-user computing devices and software, provides telephone and on-site support for problems, and assists the Server and Network Technology staff and Telecommunication staff as needed. CRISTA is a family of seven ministries loving God by serving people worldwide in the areas of education, international relief & development, senior living, and media.

1. Christian Commitment: Must read and agree with the CRISTA Ministries Doctrinal Statement and must be actively pursuing a Christ-centered lifestyle, as

outlined on CRISTA’s web site.

2. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

3. Experience: One year experience in supporting end-users on PC hardware and software.

4. Licensure/Certification:

Microsoft Windows Operating Systems 7 and 8.1

Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, or 2013

6. Other Considerations:

The ability to contribute to a close knit team that fosters respect, teamwork, and excellence.

Provide outstanding customer service.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to patiently communicate and share technical information in a professional, polite and articulate manner with both novice and experienced users.

Superb telephone skills with the ability to work and resolve customer issues over the phone.

Ability to quickly learn new skills necessary to support rapidly changing technologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
