Job Description:

Ingomar United Methodist Church (Ingomar Church) is currently recruiting to fill a part time nonexempt 25 hour per week position.  Benefits include paid vacation and sick time and company contributions towards a Retirement Savings program (after 1 year of service).


This position is responsible for maintaining Church Management data; generating reports, queries, and information for ministry leaders; and providing customer support and training to all Ingomar Church community members and leaders who access and use our database tools and information.  This individual will actively participate and collaborate with other staff members to support the activities of the church; embrace and promote the mission, vision, core values and scope of ministry of Ingomar United Methodist Church; and create and maintain a culture of encouragement in the workplace


Qualifications for this position include strong “data administration” skills, including the ability to create complex queries, set up reports, and other tools offered by our software tools; strong verbal and written communications skills; high proficiency in computer, Internet, voice mail systems, and office equipment; and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.  Knowledge of church-specific software, such as Church Community Builder, Servant Keeper or Office Tracker is preferred.


Must have or be able to pass Act 33/34 background checks
