Job Description:

Grace Children’s Home is licensed by the State of Nebraska to provide residential care for youth. Generally, youth in care are between the ages of 12 and 18.  Many of our youth have identifiable behaviors and setbacks that prevent them from remaining in their home environment.  Our goal is to provide a Christian environment where youth have the opportunity to grow and develop into their unique potential. Our youth reside in one of the three cottages, which serve as a temporary home.  We are seeking an individual or couple to serve as a Child Care Worker.  Candidates must have a strong desire to grow and contribute to the growth of others. It is important that Child Care Workers collaborate with Grace Personnel, youth, families, and other advocates of the youth.  Child Care Workers support the daily cottage routines, which can become learning experiences for each resident, as well as promote feelings of predictability and security.  Child Care Workers work six days on-duty at a cottage and then have three days off-duty.
