Description: Application Management- Responsible for the design and build of various Shared IT Applications (Telephony, Internet & Network, Servers and Server Rooms, Backup, Directory & Authentication, Remote Access, eMail, Database, Storage, File & Print, and Webs & Portal) or Shared Support Applications (Business Process Automation, ITIL-Related Systems). Includes development of vendor analyses, architectural drawings, configuration & test plans. Service Management-Heavily involved in various aspects of Service Management for Shared IT or Shared Support Applications including Service Level Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Continuity Management. Service Support- Involved in various aspects of support for Shared IT or Shared Support Applications including Problem and Configuration Management. Security Management- Involved in the various aspects of security management for Shared IT or Shared Support Applications including Control, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. Project Management- Lead and/or participate in the planning and/or implementation of technical projects. Applies knowledge, experience, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities in order to meet/exceed stakeholder needs and expectations from a project. Balances competing demands on a project among scope, schedule, cost, and technical performance/quality. Facilitate or participate in the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress. Manage project budget and resource allocation. Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology. Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management. Supports and assists other Team Leader, System Administrator I and II activities, or other duties including 24x7 support for systems, reviewing and recommending new process or technology solutions, and self-study.

Qualifications: BA or BS degree with Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree preferred, or a combination of significant experience and certifications related to Networking, Telephony, Servers, Storage, Messaging, Webs & Portals, Database, and/or Data Center required. CCNA required, CCNP preferred. • Networking (Predominantly Cisco-based): Routing, Switching, MPLS, Acceleration & Compression, Virtualization & Load Balancing, VPN, Encryption, Policy & Security, Performance tuning & Monitoring. Requires advanced proficiencies in the design, implementation and administration of the Shared IT and Shared Support systems. Must have good oral and written communication skills and exhibit the ability to work under pressure. Must exhibit people and problem solving skills. Must have good project management skills and be able to lead a Project Teams within the department as well as assist in project management duties for cross-department or enterprise level projects. Must exercise the ability to adjust to changing environments and work conditions as priorities dictate. Engages in personal professional development to stay current with the demands of the position; is a positive influence for the effective use of technology for the IMB. Salary: Comensurate with experience: $58,000 - $70,000
