CURE International / CURE Healthcare Management Services seeks an experienced Hospital Chief Executive Officer for a position based in The Imperial Hospital Limited in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Once open, this acute-care general hospital will have 300 beds.
The Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide for the operational, financial and spiritual oversight of the hospital and serve as the primary spokesperson and representative of the hospital in the medical, business and general community and with CURE Healthcare Management Services (CHMS) headquarters. The CEO also serves as the primary administrative liaison with the government and non-government entities within the country.
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of seven years hospital administration experience; knowledge of developing country settings and/or previous cross-cultural or international travel experience. Fluency in English required and Mandarin Chinese strongly preferred.
Additional qualifications include: ability to devise and implement revenue and expense strategies to meet the overall hospital mission; ability to recruit qualified senior management personnel and effectively measure performance; strong financial management and oversight skills; strong working knowledge of healthcare insurance methods, and standard billing and collection methodologies; strong government and business negotiation and interface skills; excellent conflict management and problem solving skills; excellent communications, public relations and listening skills; demonstrated ability to cope with and manage change; understanding of IT systems and inventory management; ability to build and maintain relationships with people of diverse backgrounds; emotional maturity and self-motivation; demonstrated mature Christian faith and a sincere commitment to the mission of CURE International.
CURE International is a faith based, non profit organization with headquarters in Pennsylvania, USA. It operates specialty surgical teaching hospitals in the developing world for the purpose of delivering first world quality medical care, along with spiritual healing, to the disabled child and their family.
